**Sunday Message From Angela**

Cant wait to join the land of the living or what I consider normal. Being able to come and go whenever I feel like it!! I am trying to get a date to get my skull put back in so I can do the things I used to be able to do. Right now I have to wear a helmet to protect my head even when I go to the bathroom here. But people even though this trial is getting to me Rejoice and know that according to the doctors I should be dead. They don't know of to many people who have had two aneurisms and lived!!! That is ME!!! I also wanted to say THANK YOU to all who have supported us in prayer or through deeds. Troy has (with my sister in law, Chanin) been able to work out care for my children. I have been overwhelmed with the love my family has been shown by fellow co-workers, family, friends and our church. This blog is the greatest becuz I get to see who's been affecting my family. I have been really out of it so this and the book that my mother had in my room for visitors has been the only way for me to stay connnected! It's the only way I have had a timeline to see when I have had operations and what to expect.Michelle, Chanin and Sherri I love you guys and wish I could wrap my arms around you and love on you becuz I am feeling so grateful for the support and love you have shown us. I hope in the future there is something I can do for you to ease a burden or make your life easier.Well I need to sign off I have a roommate who is verbally abusing the nurses and it gets me extremely upset. I am used to "old" people being sweet and loving, not cruel. Please keep me in your prayers in the evenings. It seems they are the hardest.

Jon Monastero....how did you hear about this?? Let me guess. Michelle Monestero!!! Thanks for stopping in to visit. Whoever thought of this blog thing was a genius!!!! Love to all of you

** NOTES FROM ANGELA HERSELF!! WHOOOHOOO!!!!!!!**

Its ME!!!!! I have finally figured out how to get here and read the blog and also add to it!! Sherri you are the best. I appreciate you doing this for us. For one, I can go back and read what I have been missing since I have been out of it. Really, this is the best way to update everyone and I keep hearing from the nurses that I have the most family and friends of anyone they have had here. That is quite the testimony of the love God has for me and how he shows it to me through other human beings!!!

Please pray for me most in the evenings. I want to go home and sleep in my own bed. I would like to snuggle with my family and fall asleep in my bed with them after watching a movie. The problem is that insurance feels if I am ok to go home and sleep then I am ok and don't need to go to therapy and be watched over 24 hours. But, the truth of the matter is that I am missing part of my skull until they replace it which I don't have a date yet. there is to much swelling right now and they need to figure out if they can drive me any more crazy than I feel right now!!!! You think I am kidding but if you were locked in a hospital with no end in sight you would go crazy too!!! I can't wait to see everyone and I appreciate all the love and support I am getting from you all while I am here. I will update you later.....Love MEEEEE!!!!

Answer To Email

Hello Everyone,

I received an email today asking why I hadn't updated the blog yet. The family has elected to update me for the blog only with significant details of Angela's progress rather than a day to day update on things.

Since she is in rehabilitation, her progress is a little bit at a time, and she continues to strive toward getting better as soon as possible. Its difficult for her at times, but she remains determined. All of us know the incredible resolve of Angela's spirit. : )

As a side note, her team has not released her to have a free flow of visitors yet. She is still seeing only immediate family members until further notice has been given on the blog. This is for her best chance at recovery and the family continues to thank everyone for their patience and support.

When there is any new news be assured I will post it immediately for everyone as I have been committed to do since the beginning of her blog. Have a blessed day today everybody.

Wednesday Update

Hello Everyone,

I received the following email from Greg just now for the blog.

"A few updates for the blog:

*Angela is spending 4 hours each day in various types of therapy (physical, occupational, daily living etc), so she's pretty tired when she's not in therapy. Visits should be limited to family - adults only (she gets anxious around too much activity) and for brief periods of time.

*She wrote her name and address today - good signs. She has difficulty concentrating for more than a few minutes at a time, so they'll be working with her to expand her attention span in the coming days/weeks.

*The doctor/therapists will be conducting an assessment on Thursday, February 8 to measure her progress and determine how much longer they anticipate her being at Immanuel.

*Angela needs prayer for her appetite and eating. She's enjoying the sweets (no suprise there), but needs to include some healthier choices - none of which sound too good.

*She has her helmet now (nice job, Paul). She has to wear it anytime she's not in bed or sitting in a chair. "

REMINDERS:
** Avon Fundraiser

** The family will let us know when Angela's medical team feels she can receive visitors

** Please continue to pray for Angela, Troy & the girls as they take each day at a time. Please lift Troy in prayer for rest. Please continue to lift the family in prayer for rest and for strength.

Thank you everbody! Your prayers and support are so valuable! We are continually amazed and blessed at the way The Lord is continuing to work through family and friends to show His love for this incredible couple and their girls and also for the people in their lives.
