Hello Everyone,
Dad Kohls called with the following update this evening:
Angela is starting to respond more and more everyday. When people are talking to her, her eyes are intent and she squeezes their hands. She is moving her left leg more and more, and she was moving her feet today as well.
She is still on the ventilator but she may be able to have it removed tomorrow. The readings for the vasospasms in the brain went up a little bit so she's not out of those woods yet. She also does not have too many facial expressions yet, but tries to communicate which is a very good sign.
Today was a little harder for Troy because he was hoping she'd be able to have the ventilator removed today. It's probably uncomfortable for her and it's doing very little work. She is almost completely breathing on her own. Dad believes the medical team is trying to be certain that she will be okay off of the ventilator. So everyone is thankful for that.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and dedication to Angela and the family. The Lord truly continues to amaze us and show His love and power every day! We are united in giving Him all of the credit for Angela's life and well being. We are united in our belief that it is no accident or plain circumstance. He is directing these events all the way.
*** Note: Because it's getting close to time for the open house I wanted to remind everyone to re-visit the note about the Avon Fundraiser. Click on the arrows next to the date on the right side bar and you will be able to see all past messages.***
Sincerely,
Sherri

I just want to say that Angela has been a blessing to me and my daughter.
I worked with her at First Data in 1998, I had just moved to Omaha from Texas and did not have many friends, Angela made me feel welcome and invited my daughter to come over and do a day of crafts with her 2 neices. My daughter is Taylor Wintle and is a friend of Maria too. That day we did crafts together was when Taylor and Maria met and they are now in high school at Millard North. Over the years we would still get together and work on some sewing projects with Anne Price.
Just want to say that Angela has been a blessing to me and hope that somehow she knows that. And to her parents thank you for raising such a nice daughter.
