**Announcements & Updates**

Hello Everyone,

Greg emailed the following updates and announcements this evening:

*Angela is going home tomorrow (Friday), February 16. She will continue out-patient therapy for several weeks and has an assessment in mid-March.

*Troy and Angela have an appointment with the neurologist at the end of February to determine when to replace her skull cap.

*If you'd like to visit Angela at home after she gets settled in, please call first to be sure she'll be there and that she's up for a visit.

*Troy will be taking the next month off work to be the primary at-home care for Angela. There are days/times that Troy will need someone to cover for him due to church commitments and Theresa will be working to fill-in those spots with people who have offered to help.
Theresa will be coordinating meals for Troy, Angela & the girls for the week of February 19. Sharon Ramsbottom will be coordinating meals for the following weeks. If you've already submitted your name to provide a meal via the Emmanuel Fellowship website - thank you - you will be contacted.

*On behalf of Troy and the Kohls & Monestero families, thank you to all of you who have prayed faithfully for Angela, Troy & the girls. Thank you also to the many people who have stepped-in to help with the girls, for the hospital visits, for the financial contributions and for the Avon fundraiser. I know the out-pouring of care and love for Troy, Ang and the girls has made the challenges of the last 6 six weeks much easier.

*We may still try to put together a fund-raiser/celebration lunch for Angela sometime in March or April, so stayed tuned for future updates.

It’s me the Miracle Child!!

I thought I would share the miracles that I am aware of with all of you that have been praying for me. I hope this bolsters your faith and you realize that God is alive and still working miracles on this earth.

1. Troy was told I would be in therapy for 4-8 weeks before I would be able to go home. It was 2 1/2 weeks and I am now home.

2. Doctor Thorell said he’s never had anyone survive 2 aneurysm surgeries. Here I am!! I am a miracle. To see more about this go to my blog and scroll down to Troy’s testimony(Feb 11) click the second link.

3. I stopped breathing and all vitals shutdown before the 2nd surgery. The doctor expected me to be dead when he came in but God has other plans for me! It’s exciting to know I have a purpose that is important to God. Thank you all who have been sustaining me and my family through your prayers.

4. I am able to do most things unaided. Anyone who knows a stroke or head injury person knows they lose some function. I am having a problem with short term memory which is driving Troy crazy but hey I had a problem before my aneurysm so what’s the problem?!

5. My husband was able to take a month off work to be with me 24 hours. (that might kill us!!!) just kidding. I am actually happy to be able to spend the time with him. He has been doing everything. The laundry, the cleaning, paying the bills, taking care of the girls, the dogs, my doctor appointments, its nice to have this break.

6. My brother Tony got to come home from Afghanistan to see me in the hospital. And with my had shaved, I look just like him!!!!

7. I can still knit. That’s what kept me sane in the last 2 weeks of hospital lockup.

8. The way family, friends and others have stepped up to the plate to help our family with the kids, with me (Thank you all who are helping pick up the girls from school), financially(Thank you Greg for setting up the account at the bank, Tracy thank you for the Avon fundraiser), with food, (We had a fabulous meal from my Godmother) (Thank you Uncle Subby and Chris for the food at the hospital!)Thank you for the gift cards Joe & Chrissy. Thank you for your Prayers; There is power in prayer. I am the living proof. If there is anything I left off or am not aware of…Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, I am surrounded by the most wonderful of family and friends.

Please pray that my short term disability goes thru so that I can get paid. Pray that I will get my skull cap put back in soon.
